Qualification Requirements

CELTA or DELTA is preferred to a TESOL certificate, plus serious experience in teaching English as an academic subject as well as a degree with a major in English. You also need to be a registered teacher. Competition for positions is still tough despite the unstable nature of the region. This mostly comes from Australians and Canadians as British and Americans are less anxious to work there, nor terribly welcome.
