There is a huge market in teaching English in China. The key areas are General and Business English and there's plenty of scope for private classes. Most of the language schools are in the East and South of China. Every year, thousands of English teachers find their jobs in this country. The living cost in China is cheap.

China is located in Eastern Asia, bordering the East China Sea, Korea Bay, Yellow Sea, and South China Sea, between North Korea and Vietnam. It has a population of about 1.3 billion. The demand for English teachers in China is huge.

Popular cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou (Canton), Kunming (Ancient Silk Route). It is possible to find job opportunities all through the country, even in some small cities.

A work permit is required. Employers will arrange this. It is illegal to work on tourist visas, but tourist visas can be changed to work visas in the country.
